Refunds and Abba Revival

Full marks to LNER for refunding me the entire cost of my journey from London to York last Saturday, which was delayed by nearly two hours because of vandalism. Dione without fuss or excuses.

The Abba revival concert on the green at Fadmoor was a bit of a hoot. Not quite as good as the real thing. Greatful, though, to the organisers, the Railroad Hobos and the group for a fun evening’s entertainment amongst friends.

A Gratitude Journal is just a simple way of
recording and appreciating the good things in life.

Research shows that keeping a gratitude journal leads to
higher levels of alertness, happiness and positive emotions as well as
a stronger immune system, lower blood pressure and better sleep.
