Gratitude journal
three good things
Peace, rest and the washing machine
Grateful to wake up still full of the energy and joy of Lourdes; I know it fades and so I hope it lasts for a while yet.
Mass at the Abbey turned into a mini reunion, as I knew it would, and I am grateful for it. Had an animated discussion with a member of the community about the College; grateful that he felt able to express his concerns and ideas about going forward.
Thank heavens we got a new washing machine the other day; helped by the bright sunshine and drying breeze I got my entire suitcase washed, dried, ironed and put away in a day.
Falling asleep by 8:30…

A Gratitude Journal is just a simple way of
recording and appreciating the good things in life.
Research shows that keeping a gratitude journal leads to
higher levels of alertness, happiness and positive emotions as well as
a stronger immune system, lower blood pressure and better sleep.
