The village was thrilled to have received a letter from The Queen’s Lady-in-Waiting thanking us for the copies of the June and July Nunnington News we sent her in appreciation of her Platinum Jubilee and the street party held in the village to commemorate the event. We highlighted this in an otherwise short News produced and published when many in the village remained on holiday.
