The world changed slightly on Tuesday, 5th September, as the children returned to school. This time of year is a time of significant change, not just because of the end of the school holidays. Farmers have been working flat out as the grain ripens. Now, the harvest is in, and this edition of the News includes a report on the outcomes of that hard work and crop yields, which, this year, have been subject to changeable weather and ravenous pests.

We also include reports of the village cricket match, the Courtyard Drinks& Nibbles and preview the many events coming up in the village between now and the end of the year. And, of course, there is lots of parish news, a wonderful pastoral piece about succah and thanksgiving by our parish priest and the Diary page as usual.
