Nunnington News October 20
With the harvest almost in and autumn in the air, we have an opportunity in this and coming months to give more room to our parish history. We have been given an archive of fulsome historical research compiled over two decades ago, which make compelling reading. Serparately, we also have a collection of photos depicting life in the village over a century ago.
None of which means we are ignoring the present or the future. For a small village, its surprising how much goes on, even in spite of the pandemic. We have articles on everything from crop rotation to flying tree branches, serendipity to drawing, sloe gin to kite flying.
We also included new pages on history, profiles and recommendations, all of which made for a packed 16-page edition of the News.
