Forgotten until five this morning about the joys of being woken after two hours sleep by the Lourdes rubbish collection!

Loving the chance to chill over a relaxed and late breakfast in the St Sauveur with some of the early arrivals.

A privilege to be here in the morning to help prepare the St Frai before the main party arrived. Much of the afternoon spent working out our Responsable service and helping the APs settle in.  Also a time for meeting old friends and new. 

Heartfelt thanks to Fr Richard’s welcome mass homily which emphasised the Benedictine nature of the pilgrimage and how we can all participate through listening, praying, work, humility and love, and community. He emphasised the difficult times we might face in the coming week and urged us to smile. Good call
