It was an honour and a privilege to join Kate, Rachel, Tabatha and Nicola on the last day of their Ride for Lorna. They covered over 100 miles today. Nicola and I joined them on the road south of Melvich and covered a few miles ourselves.
There were a few tears and lots of laughter. We were blessed with good weather, apart from the headwinds as we cycled into Dornoch. We finished at the AA box on the Ardgay road and were met by Sue, Al and family and friends. Kate, Rachel and Tabatha have every reason to feel proud of their achievements, cycling over 500 miles and climbing some of the hilliest roads in the country, as well as raising over £18,000 for the IJF and RfR. They rock.
Thank you, Heroes. I am truly grateful to have joined you on your ride in memory of Lorna.
