three good things
Exhibition at Ampleforth
Much of the weekend spent at the College. Wonderful to see the school on really good form, the musicians in first rate form, especially the pipes and drums. Will D’s jazz band were, as usual ,superb on Friday evening. Truly grateful to all the staff at Ampleforth for their hard and caring work under difficult circumstances
And the rain actually held off until 4pm as the school departed for half term.
At last, prayers said for the Ampleforth Family at the Schola mass on Friday and again by Fr Paul on Sunday at mass. Hopefully people have actually read my article in the Diary at last. Only just published so grateful to those few who had seen it for their compliments and thanks for highlighting the Ampleforth Family.
A Gratitude Journal is just a simple way of
recording and appreciating the good things in life.
Research shows that keeping a gratitude journal leads to
higher levels of alertness, happiness and positive emotions as well as
a stronger immune system, lower blood pressure and better sleep.
