three good things

Convents and coaches

It was a pleasure to meet Sr Francis at the Bar Convent in York this morning, where she kindly gave me an hour and a half of her precious time to talk about Ampleforth.

Thank you, Di Morse at Morse Coaches for coming to my rescue over the Stansted minibus. I suspect, with Suzie’s encouragement, she pulled out all the stops to make a 16-seater available. Much relieved and very grateful to both for getting me out of a hole.

Good to see Will this afternoon, who popped round to collect a ring from Clang. gave us the opportunity to have a cup of tea outside in the garden in the warm sun and to catch up with news and views.

Glad to see Alex and Lydia made it to Fleetwood Mac this evening. Hope it was a great evening

A Gratitude Journal is just a simple way of
recording and appreciating the good things in life.

Research shows that keeping a gratitude journal leads to
higher levels of alertness, happiness and positive emotions as well as
a stronger immune system, lower blood pressure and better sleep.
